The materials are complemented by a California-form tri-hull design, which includes a long center keel area that encourages boats to track straight when paddling and coasting. The result? A kayak that steers well and is easy to control on the waves regardless of whether you're just starting out or are an experienced paddler. The kayak's unique sit-on-top design, meanwhile, allows you to enter and exit the kayak easily from the shore, dock, or water. In a sit-on-top kayak, you can safely enjoy all the pleasures of kayaking without having to learn difficult self-rescue maneuvers.
The Frenzy is also outfitted with a large molded-in seat well to keep you secure, along with molded-in foot wells that provide a comfortable foot position for just about any size paddler. In addition, the Frenzy offers a surprising amount of storage for such a compact craft. You can store items on the top of the kayak in the tank well, which includes a removable bungee cord, or you can add a 6-inch screw-in hatch (sold separately) to the kayak's center. The hatch stores smaller valuables, such as a cell phone, camera, or a wallet, in a convenient waterproof location. Other details include a molded-in cupholder, bow and stern carrying handles, and self-bailing drain holes in the cockpit.
